KOA / FAQ

Before you start,
ask the awkward ones.

Capability, data handling and how a pilot runs. Where we cannot answer, we will not talk around it.

01 / CAPABILITY

What it does,
and what it does not.

What is KOA?

A product for members, coaches and gym operators. The member app carries the programme, set-by-set logging and training history. The staff side is a follow-up workspace holding due tasks, member context and the service catalogue in one place.

What can the member app do?

See today's session and the target sets for each exercise; record weight, reps and rest during the session; afterwards look back at workout records, muscle split and strength progression.

What can the coach workspace do?

See due follow-up tasks with the triggering rule, reason, due time, owner and status on each row; open a member record for goals, training history, programme progress and notes; update the task status and record the outcome of contact.

Does it message members automatically?

No. A task appearing in the workspace tells staff there is a member worth talking to. Contact happens the way your team already works. KOA does not send messages, sell, or recommend services on its own.

Does it predict who will leave?

No, and there is no such analysis. KOA does not calculate churn probability, retention lift or revenue impact. A follow-up task rests on what was recorded; the judgement stays with the person.

Are there equipment QR codes or scan workflows?

Not today — they are planned. They are not presented as available anywhere on this site.

Can it integrate with payment, door access or membership cards?

No. Payment and access-control integrations are planned and are not part of a pilot scope.

We run several sites. Can we see rolled-up reporting?

Each site manages its members and training inside its own workspace and sees its own data. Cross-location roll-up and comparison reporting is outside the current scope.

Is there AI programme generation or an LLM coach?

No. KOA does not generate programmes with AI, does not run an LLM coaching chat, and does not do movement recognition or posture inference.

02 / DATA AND RECORDS

Where it goes.

What happens after I send the enquiry form?

The content is stored as a single record in a restricted directory on KOA's own server, readable only by operations and partnership staff. Where a WeCom notification is configured, the same content is also sent to an internal group bot so it can be followed up. See the privacy information.

Does the site use cookies or third-party analytics?

No. No cookies are set, and no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts are loaded. There is no device fingerprinting.

Does a missing workout record mean the member stopped coming?

No. KOA only records what happens in the app. A member may be training elsewhere, attending classes, or simply not using the app for a while. A gap means a gap in the record, not an absence from the gym.

Who owns member data during a pilot?

That is confirmed in writing before a pilot starts: which data is used, who maintains it, and what happens to it at the end. We do not assume the answer on a website.

03 / PILOT AND IMPLEMENTATION

How it starts.

What is the first step?

Leave your contact on the contact page and say which part you most want to straighten out. We will have one conversation, then agree the scope together.

Does a pilot have to start with one site?

We recommend it. Get the member experience and the staff follow-up working at one site, then decide whether to extend. A scope written down properly matters more than spreading fast.

How long does a pilot take?

It is agreed alongside the scope, and depends on the number of sites, roles and workflows involved. We will not offer a fixed period as a commitment.

What does it cost?

No prices are published here. Scope and fees are agreed in conversation and set out in a signed written agreement.

Does anything need installing?

The member side is a phone interface; the staff workspace opens in a browser. Access and account arrangements are confirmed during pilot preparation.
